For my Cinema Production class (September 2022), we were tasked to create a fiction story that could only be filmed from 3 angles. I was this assignment's director, editor, filmmaker, and scriptwriter.
The Fiction Exercise
For my Cinema production class (November 2022), we were asked to tell a fictional story. For my assignment, I discussed how anxiety and depression can impact the college experience. I also highlighted the stigma of getting help when it comes to mental health. I filmed, wrote the script, edited, directed, and acted in it for this film.
The Documentary Exercise
For my cinema production class (November 2022), we were asked to make a documentary and utilize different sound designs. I decided to tell the story of my family's Thanksgiving meal. It was one of the first normal holidays we have had since covid-19. I filmed, edited and directed this project.
Video Assignment
A group project for my visual media class (March 2023) where we had to document an event happening around the Blacksburg community. I chose to do a Drag and Fashion show in honor of Women's History Month that Residental Hall Federation hosted. I was in charge of filming, editing and scriptwriting this assignment.
